KK Integrated Logistics owns and operates two innovative, self-unloading, articulated tug barges (ATBs) servicing bulk terminals around the Great Lakes. KK Integrated Shipping (KKIS) – the shipping side of the business – provides reliable, on-time service unmatched on the Lakes.KKIS's two barges, Lewis J. Kuber and James L. Kuber, are paired with tug boats, Olive Moore and Victory, respectively. Both barges were purchased as steamships and converted to ATBs in 2006 and 2007. Both are now fully operational as articulated tug barges, increasing efficiencies and overall operations.
